"They're growing with us, and that's important."
Neta Latham, Logistics Coordinator International Paper Company
International Paper Company provides lumber and plywood to major construction outlets like Home Depot and Lowes. Their products become everything from that homemade tree house in the back yard to the custom-made table in the dining room. And when it comes to moving over 400 loads a month from the mill to the market, they rely on Fikes Truck Line. From Texas to Virginia and six states in between, Fikes handles flatbed loads to all of International Paper’s 27 mills.
"They are a good carrier and their people are top notch," explains Logistics Coordinator, Neta Latham. "Last year at this time, they hauled just under 1,700 loads for us. This year it's over 2,000 so far. They're growing with us, and that's important. If we have a pressing need or deadline they step up to the plate and help get our goods where they need to go." |
