Fikes Family of Companies
Fikes Truck Line was founded by the Fikes family in 1941. Jim Smith purchased the company in 1981 and began with eleven contractors transporting goods within the state. Today, our family of companies operates across the United States and offers shippers a wide-array of services through the combined strength of three transportation businesses:

Fikes Truck Line is a premier open deck specialist, offering flatbed and heavy haul capacity, including side kits, drop decks and RGN trailers through a 100% owner operator fleet;

FTL Logistics was launched in 2009 to better serve the diversified needs of customers. Our Logistic team covers in-bound and out-bound loads on any type of equipment through partnerships with qualified fleets and agents; and
- FTL Custom Commodities followed in 2011 offering Dry Van and Refrigerated capacity through a dedicated fleet of owner operators.
Headquartered in Hope, Arkansas, with trucking terminals in Alabama, Kentucky, and Texas and sales offices in Tennessee and Oklahoma, we enjoy long-standing relationships with well-known manufacturers and retailers across the United States.
