- 2 years OTR verifiable experience
- Class A CDL
- Qualifiable MVR
- Current DOT physical, must pass drug screen
- 10 years work history -- last 3 years verified
Owners are required to have: - Occupational accidental insurance*
- Deadhead and bobtail insurance*
- Passenger insurance for passengers*
- Physical damage insurance*
- Worker Compensation Insurance required on hired drivers

Equipment requirements vary by the region in which you haul. Among the items that may be required are: - 10 chains and binders
- 12 load straps
- Set of lumber tarps or a side-kit
- Set of steel tarps 6 steel coil racks
- 12 metal corner protectors
- 6 beveled 4x4's 6 rubber belting pads
Tractor and trailer are required to undergo and pass a safety inspection prior to leasing. Trailers that are contractor owned must be 48' tandem axle, less than 10 years old with no holes in the floor. A trailer rental program is available for qualified contractors. |
