The Challenge:
In 2020, El Gaucho Seattle faced a persistent rodent problem. Their current pest control company’s efforts could resolve the issue or even reduce the rodent population. Being a health hazard and potentially damaging to the brand, they needed to find a solution quickly...
The Solution:
In December 2020, Fikes took over pest control services for El Gaucho Seattle. Fikes placed two exterior rodent bait stations near entryways and four Little Pete's traps in specific indoor locations. Our Fikes Certified Pest Control Technician visited every four weeks, monitoring activity, and replenishing bait.
Key Results:
By early January 2021, rodent activity significantly decreased, with bait consumption at only 10%. No staff reported issues. This was replicated with success across all El Gaucho locations and other Fire & Vine Hospitality restaurants.
